This year marks WGU’s 11th anniversary in Missouri. What better way to celebrate than to offer Missourians the opportunity to apply for a special scholarship worth up to $10,000!
Former Governor Jay Nixon established WGU in Missouri on February 15, 2013. At the time, fewer than 500 Missourians were enrolled in a Western Governors University degree program. At the end of 2023, WGU had 3,959 enrolled students in Missouri – and 7,633 Missourians have earned a WGU degree!
91ÖÆƬ³§ is Missouri’s only fully online, competency-based university and offers more than 80 accredited bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in business, information technology, K-12 education, and health professions, including nursing. WGU in Missouri is a state-based subsidiary of Western Governors University, a nationally recognized, accredited, nonprofit, and open to all qualified Missouri residents. It’s designed to fit the busy lives – and often tight budgets – of working adult students.
This is a competitive scholarship, and recipients will be awarded up to $2,500 toward their WGU tuition each six-month term for up to four terms.
