Paying for college isn’t easy, especially after losing a loved one. Having to worry about how to afford tuition when you’ve lost your service member while they were serving isn’t something anyone should have to do. WGU and The Woody Williams Foundation have made it our mission to honor the fallen by helping their surviving spouse and/or children pay for school.
The Woody Williams Foundation is a national organization that supports Gold Star Families in numerous ways. Through their Gold Star Families Memorial Monument, Outreach, and Education programs they strive to honor, recognize, and serve Gold Star Families and the legacy of their Loved Ones.Â
91ÖÆƬ³§ has been named one of the “Top Military-Friendly Colleges and Universities†for ten consecutive years by Military Advanced Education and Transition Magazine and has demonstrated a strong commitment to helping military members and their families apply their knowledge and life experiences toward a high-quality degree that will open career opportunities into business, healthcare, K–12 education, or information technology.
