91ÖÆƬ³§ is an eligible higher education provider for the Kansas Registered Teacher Apprenticeship Program. We take pride in being one of the largest teachers colleges in the nation, with 80,000 alumni and counting. We’re equally as proud to have over 400 Kansas graduates from WGU’s School of Education. Plus, our programs are designed to fit your schedule, with 100% online classes and assessments (outside of the in-person student teaching requirements for teacher certification). Steps to Enroll
Meet with an Enrollment Counselor and complete the WGU Application.Ìý
Submit Transcripts, and 25/26 FAFSA application (if you intend to use Financial Aid to supplement tuition costs).Ìý
Once you have you been admitted to WGU, please request a Provisional Letter of Acceptance (PLA) from WGU. Note: Admission to WGU may take 6-8 weeks.
Submit your Kansas Registered Teacher Apprenticeship (KRTA) online application. Note: Approval from KRTA may take up to 8 weeks.ÌýÌý
Once approved for KRTA, please contact your WGU Enrollment Counselor to complete your remaining enrollment steps.ÌýÌý
Note: For the November KRTA Application cycle, the earliest WGU Start Date is February 1st. For the June KRTA Application cycle, the earliest WGU Start Date is SeptemberÌý1st.
